- Information you give us: your name, phone number, email, best time to reach you, where your minerals are, what you own, the company that pays you, any documents you upload, and anything you write to us.
- Basic technical information: our web host may automatically record things like your browser type, device, and the pages you visit. We use it only to keep the site running and secure.
- Reference codes: letters we mail may include a QR code or reference code that is unique to you. When you scan it or visit the link, we record that the code was used and when, so we know you’re interested and can follow up.
- Public records: to research your minerals, we review public records such as county land records and state oil and gas regulatory filings.
How we use it
- To research your minerals and prepare a written offer.
- To contact you about your request and any offer.
- To complete a purchase if you decide to sell, including title review, closing, and recording.
- To keep the business, tax, and legal records the law requires.
Calls and text messages
We call or text you only about your minerals and only if you asked us to or agreed to it. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts, or HELP for help. We do not share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with anyone for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only when needed to do what you asked:
- Service providers that run our website, email, and phone, under confidentiality obligations.
- Title examiners, attorneys, notaries, and closing agents working on a purchase you agreed to.
- County clerks, when a deed is recorded. Recorded deeds are public records.
- Government authorities, when the law requires it.
- A buyer of our business, if the business is ever sold, under this same policy.
How we protect it
Only the people working on your request can access your information, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it. Please don’t send us Social Security, tax ID, or bank account numbers through this site. If you sell to us, we’ll collect tax forms through a secure method at closing. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above and our legal and tax record-keeping.
Your choices

Children
This site is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
